  • Value: $4 billion. 

  • Broadcom’s 2023 VMware acquisition spurred this divestiture, with KKR turning the division into a stand-alone business focused on digital workspace solutions. 

  • Closed: 1Q24 


  • Value: $5.3 billion. 

  • Darktrace, a leader in cybersecurity AI technology, enhances Thoma Bravo’s stronghold in the cybersecurity sector. 

  • Closed: 2Q24 


  • Value: $5.3 billion. 

  • The company will now have a significant nationwide footprint, covering critical markets across the U.S.

  • Added 1,500 employees to scale Accenture’s infrastructure and managed services for AI and cloud transformations.

  • Value: $13.25 billion 

  • Omnicom execs said they had “clearly identified opportunities” for $750 million in annual cost savings.

  • Adding client history from influencer-marketing campaigns with industry giants such as Hilton, Walt Disney Co.’s Hulu, and McDonald’s.

Podcasts became a powerful tool in 2024, especially in political advertising during the presidential election. Candidates utilized the medium’s reach and loyal audiences, strategically appearing on popular shows. Most notable was Donald Trumps’s appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
